The A.D. Latornell Conservation Symposium is one of Ontario’s premier annual environmental events. It provides a forum for practitioners, policy makers, nongovernment organizations, academics and businesses to network and discuss the challenges and opportunities in Ontario’s conservation field.
The theme of the 2013 Symposium is:
Resilience – The ability to adapt to change
Resilience building allows us to anticipate and adapt to ongoing challenges and enables us to cope and even thrive in the face of change. The outcomes from such an approach will be robust ecosystems, sustainable economies and healthy people. Delegates attending the 20th A.D. Latornell Conservation Symposium will learn how to build local resilience to continue to manage towards a sustainable future.
